At Paradise Valley Baptist Church, we believe it is our faith in Jesus Christ and His Word that provide us with a clear purpose and vision for life. God's Word defines what we do and why we do it.
In turn...
Our mission is to glorify God by living out the truth of His Word.
Our vision is to see a growing, vibrant church that is defined by...
Worship
that is God-focused. We believe that worship is all about reflecting God's glory back to Him and is ultimately governed by God's self-revelation in Scripture. Instead of asking, "What did I get out of the service?" we believe every believer should ask, "What did I give in that service?" Isaiah 1 shows us a picture of what it looks like to worship in words, but not in heart. It is our desire that our hearts, as well as our mouths, are God-focused.
Fellowship
that is Christ-centered. At Paradise Valley Baptist Church, our vision is to see believers connecting with each other in spiritually meaningful ways as they point each other to Jesus Christ. Our passion is to be a church that is defined by human relationships that are first founded upon a relationship with Jesus Christ.
Bible-Saturated Teaching. The Bible is not simply another book in the long line of "spiritual books." God's Word is absolutely true and it is our desire is to make God's Word central in all that we do. We are committed to expository preaching, meaning that we let the Bible drive the sermon and speak directly into our lives.
Community-Oriented Evangelism. The Great Commission commands us to make disciples of the nations (Matthew 28:18-20). More than just making converts, it speaks of making disciple-making disciples of Jesus. Our vision is to be a church that is passionately reaching our neighbors, co-workers, and friends with the life-changing message of the Gospel.
